This is a promo piece for my graphic novel project, CON OF THE DEAD, the story of a fanboy zombie outbreak at San Diego Comic-Con (that I've been working on for some time).
125,000 fanboy zombies versus one booth babe and her two replica 30" blades!

This was just a quick flat color treatment to have for promotion at the recent ZomBcon. In order to spice up the limited colors, I did them in a faux silk screen print style - flat and limited colors, with high contrast graphic approach - and actually printed it on oversized rough paper with matte colors (which turned out great).

I've been tinkering with John and some other artists on this project for a while, but nothing has come together yet. So I'm still actively looking for the right artist collaborator on the project... or I may go ahead and draw it myself. But the book will be a ton of fun, with great characters, and a great comic book industry twist on the zombie mythos!
