Oh man, I drew this like a million years ago, and ~Jb-612 is making me post it now.Just a silly little Pride & Prejudice comic. Darcy, like all stuck-up stoic characters, is too easy to poke fun at. Haha...I'd go by my last name only too if my first name was Fitzwilliam.
Mr. Darcy belongs to Jane Austen.

It's funny how back in the day people would name their children after the mother's maiden name... Be pretty confusing after awhile though if the mother had a brother and they had a big family reunion and someone called out the name, like Fitzwilliam. No one would know who they were talking to...

it is pretty interesting how naming conventions are different across culture and time. Like how common it was for ancient Romans to name their sons the same name as the father... there were so few first names its a wonder anyone knew who anyone was talking about.

I love Mr. Darcy because he's kindof a jerk and for some reason I like characters like that. But on a pure romantic level my fave Austen heroes are the military men - Colonel Brandon and Captain Wentworth FTW *swoon*

The new BBC Emma is AMAZING SAUCE!!! *Though I kinda think Jeremy Northam was a hotter Kinghtely, the new one was a better portrayal*
You'd love my friend. She is ALL about Col. Brandon. I personally don't see it but then again Sense and Sensibility has never been one of my favorite Austens. Everyone's a little too messed up in that story for me. Cpt. Wentworth I can totally get behind though....in the figurative sense that is! *well and maybe the literal ;D

mmmm, I have to agree, Jeremy Northam was a hottie as Knightely. Too bad the rest of the rendition was so silly. Not necessarily a bad thing, but it was definitely more of a characature of the story.
