This is awesome. First, I like how you played with shadow and light. Second, I love how stylish (sorry could't find a more appropiate word...) this turned out with the textures. Its both, graphic and really cool!

Painter IX seems so have some very nice new features ΓuΓ
This reminds me of something we had to do in 6th(?) grade... go with a comb through color on a paper and create patterns XD
The texture and its colors look very, very nice - the drawing itself has lovely shadows (very woodcut-like in their simplicity) and there is a nice textured feel to the hair and the glossy-looking eyelid
Somehow it also reminds me of western comics

Wow those textures are so lovely and look so fun! I really love her eyelashes especially, and all of the crosshatching shapes in the background! I really love your attention to detail in her face, too. You have such a great style for work like this, and I adore the colours you chose!

Hey, great work!
Good to see that you do some experimentation from the stuff that you normally do. The line art for the hair and those squigly line on the right hand side looking really interesting, remids me of relief printing work back in 60ish. Pretty jazzy and retro. It's great that known artist with distictive style like you do actually manage to come out with something experimental like this. Keep it up.
I think it's worth gallery view. But I'm open to any art form

From all the stuff that you put up here, I think you manage to cover some of those aspect pretty well. I find most of your works are pretty dynamic and you manage to pull out some good poses on few of your older works, Engelsokaki and Woodelf for example. In fact woodelf has some pretty intersting perspective eventhough it's a portrait piece. But i know how you feel tho, but I think that what makes people a good artist that they still attempt to progressively to look beyond what they've already done and always seek for improvement. ^^
