Four brand new ACEOs as an excuse to draw fanart for one of my new favourite things ever, Steven Universe! The colours look a bit blegh thanks to my scanner, I promise they look much nicer in real life!

If you haven't watched this show already, a) what is wrong with you and b) get on it! There are less than 20 episode so far and they're only about 10 minutes each so you only need a few hours to marathon the whole thing, and I highly encourage it! It's a fantastic show, following in the footsteps of shows like Adventure Time, Bravest Warriors and Bee & Puppycat, which have the perfect balance between childlike aesthetics and bright colours, and the subtly surreal and bizarre. If you like creative monster designs, fantastic fight scenes and ACTUAL GREAT FEMALE CHARACTERS then this is the thing for you my friend

I genuinely can't decide which Gem is my favourite - Garnet probably has my favourite visual design, and is the total epitome of badass, Amethyst is hilarious and Pearl is the one I find myself relating to the most (I am also the protective mama of the group)
But also Steven
STEVEN
As the only male character in the core cast (except maybe his dad) he's actually fantastic, and actually believable as a small kid. I've worked with kids that age for years and the way he sees the world and the ideas he has are actually really on point, so gold stars to the writers for doing a great job there. Plus he has a pink lion, and how can you not love anyone who has a pink lion
