Soooo with all due respect, am I the only one who finds it a bit shocking the two major newcomers got the least amount of picks in the 3D World poll? .v.Dun worry Toad, you and Peach are still my favorites ~

I can never decide between Mario, Luigi, and Peach. Rosalina and Toad I never use. That's just me. Of course if Wario was playable you bet I'd be him all the time!

Peach & Toad are my Mains, with Mario coming in 3rd, and Luigi & Rosalina tied in last (irony, what a beautiful mistress).
Wario would've been an interesting addition, provided he doesn't come as clunky as hell as he did in 64 DS (seriously I hated Wario in that game). =v=

Oh yeah they really did a number on poor Wario in that game. But the worst they could do to Wario is make him run as slow as Peach and Jump as high as Toad. And since those two are you're mains, that shouldn't feel too uncomfortable.
Anyway I don't really care too much about speed, I like to take my time and explore, so that's why I don't really use Toad.

Im sure Toad is a great character, I just tend to play as slower characters for 3D platformers

I personally prefer Toad and Peach myself. Toad cuz I really do enjoy the sense of speed with him, and Peach cuz her hovering ability can be useful at times, and the sheer novelty of being able to play as Peach in a 3D game is just too much to ignore.
Mario's good but he's the same as always so I only play as him every once in awhile. Luigi I barely play since he's the same as Mario outside of his traditional floaty Jumps. and Rosalina I will admit is a fun character, but having to ignore every Power-Up just to keep her one advantage kinda bites.

Wow, I'm actually surprised Toad isn't higher up since he's one of the best in this game. Best maneuverability in my opinion.

And i agree when they below say people choose them because they like them... it's true.
And, i choose luigi because i'm more comfortable with him. I used him in the gameboy game *gosh darnit forgot its name T.T it has birdo* and i didn't like peach's floatiness or toad short distance .u.

you're thinking of Super Mario Advance, which is basically an enhanced port of Super Mario Bros. 2
eh to be honest I find Luigi a tad floatier than Peach, but to each their own I guess. I personally find Peach's Hovering Ability kinda fun to cheese some level design with and Toad's speed can make speed running fun at times ~

i like luigi because i played as him in super mario advance and got used to playing him. i will try using the other players too. C: it's good to use more than one

The irony that you find Luigi more floaty then Peach considering the fact the floating is her power.

LOL well there is a difference between being able to "float" in the air, and overall floaty jumps

The thing I see here is that, instead of choosing a character for its uselfulness, people choose them judging if its their fave as a character or well, in personality. I mean, I LOVE Luigi, but I suck at playing as him, that's why I always used Toad or Peach (since SMB2). I hope I made my point clear, because I'm not good at explaining things

As for my faves to play as the order goes like this (I haven't unlocked Rosalina either):
1. Toad (I'm a fan of speed games, I feel like if I were playing Sonic... well, kinda lol.)
2. Peach
3. Mario (a little boring to play as, but using him makes me feel secure)
4. Luigi
if I ordered them for how much I like the character itself it would go like this:

I usually prefer to play with Peach. Mostly to capture all green stars and stamps (which I have to do to unlock the last world...)So I'm not sure why she's least.

well rosalina is more of a new comer than either of them, and i do think she's one of the best characters, but so does toad

Rosie's good definitely, that said though she's probably the worst character to use for Green Star hunting, primarily because some of them require Power-Ups and, well, she handles the worst compared to others with a Power-Up in hand.
