Ha ha, so true. Sheik is kickass, he is also one of my favourite characters in the Zelda games. I was sad to see him go.
They should make a new Zelda game where Zelda turns into Sheik...FOREVER.

Good picture. I liked Zelda a lot though. She wasn't that bad. She fought in Ocarina of Time, Windwaker, and Twilight, always shooting the golden arrows. And those things pwned like crazy. To be honest, I don't remember Sheik ever really fighting much in the Ocarina game. Even though, he/she was cool, Sheik was usually just teaching Link some new Ocarina melody. There's a lot of similarities in Sheik and Zelda. Well they are the same person after all. Zelda was bad ass in all the games. Whether Sheik or Tetra, she was always helping to kill Ganondorf in the end. And in Twilight she was more like a wise mage than a damsel in distress. Eh, sorry about that. I started to rant. But I love those games. Great picture again by the way.

I agree with you. Zelda was really annoying. If she had stayed Sheik-like I would have loved her. I did think that Sheik was Zelda before it was revieled though and I join you in your anger about the switch. Maybe the testosterone gave her not only real balls but metaforical ones as well *shrug*.

oh, ok. i was wondering about that.
because, if you look at zelda as a child, with your brother standing next to you, he is sure to point out, as mine did, zelda's massive boobs. seeing sheik, he definitely has NO boobs. also, adult zelda has "dainty, attractive boobs," quoth my brother once more. i was wondering how on earth she magically lost her figure.

That is why I was glad when they made Tetra. She made up for how they turned Zelda from boy-ish looking Sheik, to stereotype princess. At least they made Zelda more kick ass. D:
I STILL hold the Sheik!Girl thing high, but I UNDERSTAND why people would think Sheik was a dude. The anatomy and body features--Nintendo, stop changing genders. D: They seriously didn't think the whole thing through, when they were making Sheik!Zelda. XD

Yeah, you're completly right, Zelda turned into a total wimp once she was wearing her dress again. Tetra was waaay better than this. Twillight Princess Zelda as well.

Well, at least Zelda is cool and controlled in both of her forms in Super Smash Bros. Still, it's a pity that they took Toon Zelda and Tetra out of the rooster (there are remainings of data for them in the game's data)

Yes, I read it at some website a while ago and think it's very likely that they were really going to do it but, well, Brawl's already a pretty giant game, so... O.O
Could be, but I think the reason why Sheik got the redesing is, that they wanted to make him/her appear as a female in Twilight Princess, instead of "BlackRobesZelda", but dropped the idea.
Well, as I said, Twilight Princess Zelda is already awesome enough as she is, with her sword! ^^

In Ocarina of Time Sheik was a biological man... same in Melee.. he was a magical disguise Zelda used that transformed her body so she couldn't be found.
In Brawl they just went ahead and made Sheik Zelda in a costume. They also slowed her down like woah and now I can't play her anymore when she was my favorite character in Melee. I'm still angry about that.

I know what you mean. Sheik is awesome and then towards the end of the game he reveals that he is she and is a pathetic. All the sudden Gannon pops out of nowhere all 'at last I've found you, Princess Zelda!' and to which her reaction is 'I'm being kidnapped! Link save me!'. Just use some of the magic you used as Sheik and save yourself you twit! The only one in which I really liked Zelda's character was Windwaker. Tetra is awesome, but the other ones get annoying. And then there's all the awesome female characters that just make her look even more lame, especially in OoT such as Impa and Noburu.

I agree. It wasn't fair that when 'Shiek' became Zelda again, it looks like every skill that Shiek ever learned over the seven years since his 'birth' after Impa put Zelda's mind to sleep in order to create Shiek, was lost as soon as Zelda woke up. Something of Shiek should have past on to Zelda, since they were the same person. But instead becomes helpless princess again. I think whatever fighting skills Shiek had could have helped Zelda rescue herself when Ganon caught her. *lol*

Loool! I'm just done reading the Ocarina of time in manga ( never played the game)and before that I played Super Smash Bros. Brawl. When I was playing with Zelda, I was like who the hell is Sheik??? I looked for the description and it said that it was Zelda but deguised so I was all like WHAT!!??? Where does she hide so much muscle!!! So, Zelda is not so sissi after all! But what does she do to hide her boobs?? Then I looked for the manga and read that it was all magic. That in this form she was a real guy. Yay! Sheik is awesome as always and Zelda is as sissi as always!

I SO MUCH AGREE! I mean, if Zelda had the ability to fight as Sheik, where the hell did it go when she was a princess!? And really, theres no reason she should ever have gone back to that ugly dress. She obviously doesnt get that shes only hurting link more by not fricken helping him. It makes me so mad. If she really cared about him, she would become Sheik for him. I strongly believe that they are two different people, because they are too different, if Zelda really had that fiery, mysterious spirit inside of her, she wouldnt go back to her high maintenance whiney princess self. EVER.
