Today we have some photos of the attic, kitchen, basement and a closer look at some of the items left behind, including grocery receipts from 1925!!

Down a long gravel road hiding behind years of weeds up on a small hill sits this unassuming long abandoned house. You could easily pass it by with its boarded up windows thinking it wouldn't be interesting at all and at first glance you would be right!

Another explorer shared this one with me and I decided to stop and take a look. I wasn't expecting much at all from this one and once I walked inside, my suspicions were confirmed. Mostly empty and completely boarded up, there were only a few small pieces of furniture leftover but once I started to look more closely I found a bunch of very interesting things, some of which had been around for almost a century. One thing that I expected to find was not there, so I went outside and had a look around, sure enough I found it and dragged in back into the house. A bit of a Frankenstein of a house that was likely built in the late 1800s or early 1900s, with aluminum siding (in two different colours, pink and blue) now covering up the original wooden facade. An almost symmetrical design if it weren't for those ground floor windows, it also used to have a covered porch at the front that has since rotted and collapsed.
