Another MUST download....Ive been drawing big lately..
This is a drawing I did, after listening to the song.."This Good Day"
Heres the song...its from Fernando Ortega..I STRONGLY suggest you find this song and listen to it..it puts EVERYTHING into perspective!!
This Good Day
Morning sun and morning glories
Pouring down the hill,
Through my window
I can feel the ocean breeze.
Noisy sparrows fill the oak trees
Swallows can't stay still,
And in the glad commotion

This reminds me of the peace I feel when I'm by the ocean... Especially in Maine. I go with my Bible and my coffee and just sit and listen to the waves... The place I go even has a lighthouse! I used to love to climb out on the rocks (when I could) and sit in the sun just like Jake... You've captured so much in this! When I look at it, I think of peace... There's a verse rattling around in my head, but I can't quite think of it...

THANK you sooooo much...I had ALOT of fun drawing this..it took me a while to finish it..I first drew him with his eyes open..and just didnt look right..so I shelved if for a while..then tried again..and closed his eyes..and that just made for the peaceful look.

*Chuckles evilly*...I was thinking the same thing...OR...and even better idea...WHAT...if Jake took those two to a Gallegher concert..(ever see that guy?..he throws ALLLL sorts of pies and watermelons at people)...HMMMMMMMMM..the possibilites........

Ah yes, I remember Gallegher. That would be cool, too. Would be cool to see what your version of someone with pie in the face would look like. Jake as the main character sounds like the perfect candidate. No cartoon is complete without the main character taking a pie in the face at some point.
So Gallegher did pies, too? I don't ever remember him doing pies. I do remember LOTS of watermelon smashing, though. That was epic. I remember watching a Gallegher show on VH1 or something and the first few row of people had plastic they would put over their heads every time he would smash something. I think Pierre and Andre would get along good with Gallegher.

MM..yes..I almost washed my MP3 player..the only thing that saved it was it hitting the side of the washer while it was in my pocket...THAT..would have been a MAJOR OOPS..not to mention expensive..
