Wow. Rin is going to protect Sesshomaru? I don't think Sesshomaru would let her do much, though he obviously trusts her bravery and strength. Rin seems really quite sure that she is going to fight and win for him, though. It's wonderful. ^^

I love the idea you used for this. Though I really think you should have kept the original object in her hand (I think, not sure, but I think I see a sword or some object behind the copy & pasted Tenseiga... at least the Tenseiga looks like it was copy & pasted... I say that cause the color looks duller than the vibrancy you use in the characters and background).
You're such a great artist... I really believe Rin would take on such a determined, protective look if she ever believed that Sesshomaru couldn't handle himself, and even if he could, she'd still want to protect her caretaker. Beautiful job on this! ^_^

No, relation between them is quite odd. The girl is an orphan who found him badly wounded in a forest. She helped him because she loves him, like many other beings. Rin is sad but always able to see beauty of world around her.
Sesshomaru is the problem. He dislikes all humans and he can hardly admint she is special to him.
