Frederick von Archlight is both the Duke of the Kingdom of Trisdain, as well as the Father of Rinette Amelie von Archlight . Many years ago, Frederick had an agreement with the King to form an Arranged Marriage between his Daughter & with Prince Augustus van Hardenberg . He did it because he wanted to do what was Best for his Daughter & thought she might make a Fine Queen in the Future. However, he didn't know the true layer of the Prince's Stupidity until after one night during the Day of the Duel when Rinette told him everything. He soon had a chat with the man named Kanan who fought on his Daughter's Behalf, and after hearing the words of his Daughter, Kanan, Sasha & Tyrias Vax , he understand the three individuals character. He then decided to both officially cancel the engagement, as well as having Kanan, his Mother & his 2 Companions under his protection. Over some time, Frederick soon saw the relation grew between Kanan & his Daughter and wonders if Kanan could be Rinette's Husband. Suddenly after stopping an attempted coup, the previous King Advocated from the Throne while Frederick soon succeeded, and the next day, he was both surprised & happy that Rinette proposed to Kanan. Several Months have passed, Kanan then told him & everyone of his Friends & Loved Ones the Truth about him. After hearing it, Frederick understood the True Weight of the World that Kanan kept to himself for all these years, of which he sympathizes with his choices. During the battle Against the Beast, Frederick joined in since he wasn't just going to hide cowardly while others fought for him. When everything was over, he was delightfully happy regarding 2 things. Them being Rinette's Wedding Day, and seeing her as the Queen she's meant to be.
