In the original plot, this Kaiju unnecessarily has an intermediate form that only exists for less than half a minute in the process of growing huge. But it really helped a lot in making this Pokemon line. Its hair starts to grow a larger range of blue while still keeping the white around its face, making it a suitable transition. Although Luxray exists, blue is still a bizarre color for an early-route mammal Pokemon, so being able to use the concept of "Blue Doberman" is a great link. The most amazing part is that in the plot, this Kaiju's tail was cut off during the battle, which is basically the mark of the Doberman, so I wanted to treat it as a way of evolving. But even in Pokemon games, such unconcealed elaboration is rare, and it is even harder to imagine applying it as a method of evolution. Basically, what I am used to do is to utilize the existing mechanisms of official Pokemon games to achieve these new developed ways of evolving. In my settings, this would be a function similar to Coiffure Clips changing the cuts of Furfrou, except the procedure is a real cutting~aka tail docking. In other words, as long as the docking is performed, it can evolve.
