Description
Born far from Earth to humans descended from abductees enslaved in the distant past, Reave slowly rises from a slave to a soldier, forced to fight for his captors. Having only ever heard about Earth in stories from the few surviving humans he knows who have ever seen it, he vows to one day lead an intergalactic exodus of his people back to their home planet. After years of planning, he is able to lead a human uprising and overtake a huge star ship able to carry them back to Earth.

When he finally arrives, however, the Earth is not the paradise he had always imagined it to be. Instead it is a war-torn ruin. Enraged at how the rest of the human race could have let this happen to their home-world, he decides to use the advanced technology and now considerable military power at his command to conquer the Earth in order to restore it to its former glory and protect it from extra-terrestrial threats. Needless to say, this quickly brings him into conflict with the Earth's heroes.

His combat capabilities are dependent entirely on the ship under his command, which is linked to his suit, allowing him to manipulate gravity using the ship's tractor and repulsion beams, project force fields and call down powerful orbital strikes.

His helmet, while appearing intimidating, in fact helps keep him alive, as after so much genetic alteration and years of fighting in extra-terrestrial atmospheres, his body is no longer capable of functioning normally in Earth's atmosphere.
