Wanted to create a piece that incorporated both nature and the modern world we live in with the power lines going right threw the middle of the scene. Imagine a day in which this image is vintage and these giant towers don't line our landscape.Related content

Beautiful picture. Funnily enough, although I am a great lover of the natural world, I never find myself having any problem with power lines or pylons. They are interesting objects in their own rights and add an extra element to so many pictures; our think our landscapes would be immensely poorer without them

It's funny you should say that, because when I was composing the image I had originally not included the power lines but then once I did, it made it much more appealing. So clearly there is credence to the notion that they add that extra needed element to so many pictures. Thank you for the great comment and debate about that!
