Description Alright, I'm getting back into digital drawing!  And it feels great!

As I mentioned in my latest WIP journal, I've had some nostalgia lately for Anya's Ghost, a graphic novel I used to read years ago.  One of the special things about it that stood out from other high-school themed books to me is that Anya is portrayed from the beginning as an insecure and bitchy girl that would usually be unlikable, yet I find myself rooting for her to succeed and become a better person.  It's not often you come across a character like that, especially when their awful qualities aren't played for laughs.  So kudos to the author!

But I digress.  Since the book is mostly in black-and-white, I had to improvise a bit in terms of coloring.  So I gave Anya brown eyes and I changed Emily's color scheme a bit to give her ghostly body more depth and variety.
