The original idea was to make an artwork that could be seen from various angles. For example, if you rotate it vertically, the composition changes, while the quality of the presentation stays the same. The addition of text ruins the idea, but the background looks shallow without it. Also, this is sort of an homage to decent stylistic posters SNK created for the King of Fighters XI.
