There is much meaning i this work. I'd like to say it's some bitter representation of myself.. With flaws, and perfections.. but at the same time, it's everything I could never want to be. Can you see it? does it even matter?The hourglass has broken
The seconds without voices cease their ticking
and the morose darkness is eternal
In a land without time
Decayed on a frozen breeze
Edging past the clock tower and
....you can't save me
When silence is deafening
My parody
Your double life
A disease of reality that never was
Can you feel it?
Wind breathing on your neck
Perfumed with alchohol
Lacking a savior
Unless lost sobriety might be the antidote
Lost in oneself so unbeknownst
And the voices of yesterday
Are ever muted
Or are you just pretending
But you know
You've seen
and the screams are still there
in your rotten soul
ever searching for a light
That burnt out long ago
for within you
Time has staggered
Dear, in this age...
when i whisper to you
things didn't change.
and still they are just
In your stuppor..
have you forgotten?

Well, I must say, I rather liked the film. It is just as wonderfully done as the politeness and tires. You have a remarkable eye for detail, and you render a lot of emotion into your work.
But I did not see your film before drawing this, and they in no way connected I am sure. the reason I say so is that this drawing was submitted here in febuary of 2005, while your film was uploaded in November of 2007. 
The short is remarkably touching though, and the two seem to have the same feeling of hurt and growth, and being shattered. Altogether, I am shocked that they could be so similarly conceived without either of us having had an inkling of the others existance. But life is odd, that way.
As it is, I loved the short. I did not get to hear the music, since I have a hearing problem, and my speakers on my laptop are not powerful enough. But it delivers the message better than mine.. and it seems so sad.
Anyway, sorry for the confusion. But I loved the video, and am glad you decided to browse my gallery.

As for other fansites.. I really only frequent their myspace. I am sort of a picture whore, though, and I found stephs site through the bicture of John in a suit she has in fasion disasters.. And at that point, I had to browse.
And.. I will totally enter if I can. I've wanted to do fanart since forever, but I scare myself out of it. So, the excuse is wonderful.
And by goo story, do you mean what got me started? (and thanks) It was, like most people, Iris. The song writing was one of the most enchanting things I had ever heard. It played while I was at school one day, and out of curriosity, I looked it up, and loved it. So I downloaded some of their music, really just testing the waters.. I ended up with Broadway, Here is Gone, Black Balloon, Iris, and Big Machine. So I bought a cd. A boy named Goo. And just sort of.. Fell in love? XD And now it's more like an obsession. Before a boy named goo I'd never seen the band.. And they were beautiful together, but John is my favorite. He is really just a beautiful man.

I heard of them during ABNG with Name, and I got hooked in 97 by Lazy Eye, and got all hard-core-fan in 98, with Iris and DUTG. (that's my goo-story in a nutshell)
John is a beautiful man, in all aspects, and there is a certain... sort of semi-perfection that surrounds the three of them.... I will say, though, and it's probably obvious.... Robby's actually my favorite... But, I love John, too. I like Mike, of course, but... There's a certain.... Aura around John and Robby that's just so fantastic. I love it. I love them.
aaaaand, I just got my black balloon tattoo today!! woot!

I had heard name on the radio, but until my downloading, I had no idea who it was by. So I didn't suppose it counted. XD I have one of those radio stations that will play amazing songs, but never give the title of artist.
And I will say, you're right about the three of them. They just are.. Like.. Wonderfulment embodied. And Robby is probably the happiest person alive. I have never seen a clip, or picture where he doeswn't just seem radiant. The group just works together.

I love it...to me the rose looks like a cancer to the heart....like some sort of infectious growth....well that's only my opinion, as which yours is completely different. Anyways, the poem is beautiful as well as the drawing.

as confusing as it may be, it means something to you, and that is obvious. it conveys a mood as well, which is the main purpose of such poetry and artwork. fantastic idea to begin with, and well crafted and represented. i've only good things to say of this piece.
