Although your rendering is nice, your attention to detail is somewhat...poor. You add in details that you don't follow through with such as the lens flare of the red goggles. Either you have the lens flare for ALL glowy red parts or you dont use it at all. Also, WTF is wrong with her (Widow's perspective) right arm holding the gun? The deformation and posing looks like you forgot to pose the twist bone of the upperArm. This piece looks like you barely tried with the posing...

You certainly could have worded this better. This type of unnecessarily harsh constructive criticism isn't inspiring or helpful. Instead of throwing terms around like "poor" and "WTF", perhaps give advice that's actually helpful like "oh hey adding lense flare to all the goggles is actually more accurate!"Β

Also, giving criticism to a piece that does not have critiques on is fairly uncalled for. Obviously no one is free of criticism, and creators always want to improve. However, using such unnecessarily harsh and tasteless terms does not help anyone. It especially does not help people explore their creativity

(I also understand your comment is a year old, but it still carries weight)

1) A year old and the fact that you picked up my comment clearly shows you are behind. I have changed in my way of writing criticism when and how needed. Midnight has changed quite a bit with the quality of their renders, and I like where they are going, thus my criticisms are less frequent. I will NOT change this year old comment; they are all potential ideas on what Midnight can pick up on. Midnight can take them as they are, or leave it. You on the other hand, don't belong here, therefore here is your harsh criticism; LOOK AT MY MORE RECENT COMMENTS AND BE CONSTRUCTIVE ON WHAT YOU SEE AS A PROBLEM WITH WHAT I RECOMMENDED, NOT HOW I COMMUNICATED IT!
2) Your helpful advice example is not doing justice, just sugarcoating parts that feel extra from the image. I wanted to get to the point. The image has great potential with its idea, but the rendering only did so much to cover the mistakes when there were clear issues that the rendering couldn't hide. If that's the case, I had to point that out, and my delivery represented how I felt upon seeing the mistakes that could have been avoided and made this poster way better. Not only that, criticism of design choice is common. If Midnight didn't like this idea, then they ignore it. Plain and simple.Β
3) I am commenting to give feedback. Most creators got better through criticism, either by others or of themselves. It depends on whether or not they see that they are making errors. They pick out the information and improve. Don't tell me what and how I should comment! I know what I like and don't like! Not only that, if Midnight didn't like my comment, they are more than welcome to Hide it, but they didn't.Β

My comment does carry weight, but a challenge truly develops the artist. Your comments are nice, but not particularly productive for the intent of what I wanted to do. Please consider MY wishes for the artist next time, and show some respect.Β

And the Neon Buildings in the back looking verry verry out of place, like there belong in a complete different city that is more focused on High Tec Research

That's just because the map was designed as such, but indeed a lot of the background could have been detailed, like stars, clouds, and/or more buildings. You can even superimpose the buildings to give a feeling of caging the city, showing how she may be above the Kingrow main block, but she isn't above the rest of the city.Β
