Small sketch
I listened for the I-don't-know-th time to "Kälter als der Tod" - a song recently released - and all of a sudden I realised some overlappings (or similarities?) to "Prison" (my Avarus main theme and the brighter written lyrics).
I'm not going into detail explaining the meta stuff that's going on in my head, while thinking about both lyrics. I don't know if I'm even able to put this into words that everyone is able to understand, haha...
So well, you can either make your own theories about the lyrics or just enjoy the little doodle that turned out by me trying to draw out my feelings regarding Avarus in these songs~
It was nice to do a monochrome sketch like this one again. I haven't done that in a while~

Oh my gosh, this is intense!! Love seeing Avarus's chi again, but gosh the context has is so different from the Dtiys, he looks so sad, poor lad!! ;v;
Man these lyrics got me thinking about a theory I've always had about a sneaking suspicion that poor Avarus might be immortal, but of course, I might am probably be wrong (I'm bad at theories, but I thought you might like to hear it anyways X'D )
But anyways, I love the use of monochrome colors for this! It adds so much intensity to the pose and the emotion. It looks super great!

Yes, it's different that is right :3c one reason why my friends don't trust me anymore when I do artworks to songs because they usually turn out that way :'D (I made a little comic strip and the first thing I was asked "will this turn out sad?" :'D)

thank you, working with monochrome colours is one of my favourite things to do!! <33 it's not only fun but also quickly done and sometimes I feel like for some artworks that is the best way to show emotions

As you know I am big (Big) fan of your monochrome style...it's really nice and aesthetic yanno. Especially because you always add a really nice pop of color that gives it that extra 👌👌👌. And also I love when you incorporate songs/lyrics into your art, because it gives an added depth to your story/characters that just makes it all the more interesting and me more curious!!
The posing here is very nice and works well with the sort of sad, angsty feeling those lyrics convey to me. Avarus's expression is probably one of the softest I've ever seen from him, but it makes so much sense with what he must be feeling in this picture -- so I really really love how his feelings are conveyed through that! And the way the chi glows off of them, and how it's surrounding them. Very nice god I love you art and these bbs ty qwq

You know what's funny to me? The way this picture is seen by people. Some say it's a beautiful dance while others are concerned.. just what I wanted to achieve >:3c

This looks incredible. The monochrome red really seems to capture the mood of the lyrics and I can see why it inspired you to create this piece. It's also interesting to see Saira in monochrome red since her usual monochrome colour is blue.
The first thing I noticed here were the body poses. I know how hard it is to draw limp characters, but you did that perfectly for Saira. And, the way Avarus is holding her and the expression . . .
The lighting is really gorgeous in this piece, not only for the way it falls on the characters, but the glowing of the chi itself.
This is an incredible piece . . . thank you for sharing it with us.

Oh wow this is such an interesting pose I really like the concept here and a part of me feels like this is probably mild spoilers territory :'D
At first glance it seems like they are dancing until you at a better look at Avarus' face and his saddened concentration to call the chi to him almost like Saira is wounded and while he fear it may not be enough he tries his best to safe her :'3
Keeping the colour scheme monochrome red helps with the feeling of urgency and I like how the chi is framing the characters creating motion and also seeming to collect all the energy to do Avarus' bidding :'3
Having the lyric around brings it all together in a nice cohesive way

That pose! ... I had that as an idea in my mind but only roughly and when I tried to capture it to bring it on paper it disappeared. And the more I thought about it the weirder I found the idea until I found the right pose to draw :'D
the mild spoilers territory might be not that wrong, depends on how deep you can interpret the lyrics in the context of Avarus :'D and also think a little more meta here. I tried to write down my thoughts earlier and that was.. meta :'D
oooh I love your thoughts! The dancing is a tango to be exact. I love the passion in that dance, but while it's so strong for love it can be easily use in the contrary as well :3c
