A great and dramatic picture - and an unusual thing to do to PMM's peaceful art!

Awe-inspiring scenery. And I think the two warrior give this piece so much more life and so many more layers. Kudos!

I had the dream years ago but I do remember it. I was dressed in plate amror and my friends were dressed like the theme as well. We were attacked while crossing bridge and attacked by witch and her heavy man. Some how I got her wand and I was in a sitting stanc in the water, trying to use the wand on her. the setting was just like your pickure.
Sorry if this is hard to read, I am sorry, I struggle with egnlish at times

I make sure when I go to bed or take a nap, my mind is filled with thoughts of things like fantasy movies, sci fi, westerns, ancientΒ Greece, adventure movies.

Thank you. Yeah I thought it looked a bit "empty" before I added them.

Sieht cool aus, angenehmer Kontrast ohne, dass es edgy wirkt.

Oh my gosh, I love this. I really do. This is the kind of picture I'd love to have on my wall. I disagree with kvilledrew , I think the way you've created the scenery and given it a story with two characters in it, is extremely well done. I adore these kind of pieces, where there's so much more to the picture than the obvious.Β
I love how you created the reflection in the water, and the light is so peaceful and the scenery very harmonic, it creates a nice contrast to the story with the two characters. This is a picture you could find in a graphical Game of Thrones-book. I'm a big fan!

Thanks Quin! As a huge Game of Thrones fan myself that is a great compliment. The inspiration actually came from the game "The Witcher 3" which has you fight in midst of beautiful idyllic landscapes quite similar to this.

Hey isi! i love love love this picture but in terms of constructive criticism I'd say that the focus is not on the characters as much as it is the scenery as a whole. By that i mean it took me a second to realize that the characters were supposed to be the focus at all. Both are incredibly well done but i think we as the viewers need a little more to direct out eyes to the characters first. That being said both are amazing but i feel as though I'm looking at a mashup of two completely different paintings here.

Ah I see. In that case i think the easter egg approach might have worked better for accomplishing this goal. Providing a bigger contrast on what the focus is would've made it easier. As it is, I find the focus split between wanting to focus on characters (as is human nature in any given scene to gravitate towards living beings, especially other humans) and the beautiful landscape. Does that make sense? If it was more blatantly "here is this remarkable landscape" and then as a side note, here are some figures to for you to discover that adds to the depth and even perceived history of the piece, I believe it would get your original intention across much smoother. That is simply my opinion though and again I really do love this piece!!! very well done.

Well I tried pushing them further into the background but I could never make it look right. The problem was to make them not too noticable but still hint at enough details to give them personality while also being careful to not mess up the composition. Might've worked out it if I had put more time into it but after all I'm much happier with the way it looks now.
