Full Description:

The MAD-HATR 5.70 is an assault rifle internally based on the FAMAS, though externally is a traditional-style rifle. The folks at Benklere EWD have been working on their different 'wonder weapons' and this has been on the backburner for the most part. However, due to the rising undead and need for arms, Benklere have begun full-production on this rifle. Interestingly, they decided to chamber this rifle in the foreign 5.70x42mm cartridge, citing it as a very potent cartridge that bridges the gap between a full-rifle cartridge and a lighter cartridge (aka the gap between 7.62x51mm NATO and 5.56x45mm NATO). This also features a rather low rate of fire, mainly to counteract the potential recoil concerns from this weapon. While not very modern in terms of design, the MAD-HATR 5.70 is definitely a modern powerhouse to be reckoned with.
