Last night I was thinking that you see cute happy kissing pictures, and you see hot naked action pictures, but nobody ever draws the steps in between. So. Xel and Lina totally making out.Was originally a pencil drawing. Ran it through Painter. I've been trying to actually show a paper grain when using Painter's watercolors. Also I've been CAREFULLY experimenting with the airbrush. I think about 5 years ago I swore off computer airbrush tools because perfectly smooth washed-out highlights are too fake. But after applying solid highlights with other tools, going back in over them with very low-density airbrush work gives a nice soft hint of lighting. It's just overuse that kills.
Other than that...Xelloss and Lina are my favorite pairing. I don't draw them enough. nn;

I'm all about that middle ground though my attempts are ridiculed with problems since I know diddly squat about the male body. Actually, today I indulged and wrote this weird half-description/half-fic about X/F's son, Damion (w00j for originality on names, but I do admit to being in love with the personality ShiverDragon gave her adored creation) and Talia (one of Zelas's wolves who is Damion's guardian/companion for years on end and he had no idea the whole time that his wolfy was actually ...something else) where she leads her currently-mad lover to the land of lovemaking and its filled with awkwardness since its his first time and definately not her's. It is such love...I waste all my college-education obsessing over her OC characters for her fic instead of working.
But yeah, I'm disgressing.
I need to finish reading the first chapter of your story. I got half-way through and the computer died, though I did manage to quote it in my AIM profile about the four new verses to the "Life is Wonderful" story. :-D

Wow, that is very well drawn. It looks so natural!! It's hard to make it look like the characters are interacting and there's GRAVITY in a picture lol And their hair is gorgeous!! I have a friend who likes this pairing, so I shall definitely show it to her! XD
