Rip Off and Bummer! It's such a small item, not a heavy package. I hope it didn't get lost! You poor thing. I would be going nuts! hang in there!

Sorry to hear about your head, I;ve been looking at your gallery also, and I'm curious to know more about Apple Aperture... How do you like it?

Thank you very much for your comments and faving this picture!
I honestly feel RAW is the only way to go. The image has not been interpreted or compressed by the camera, it is the equivalent of a digital negative. Yes, it takes up a lot of room. I had to buy a Macbook Pro before I could get Aperture, which was a huge leap in faith and a chink from the wallet, but it had to be done to be able to work with RAW efficiently. I felt really guilty at first, I spent my family's summer fun basically, but now that I've seen the difference in the pictures and working with them, I feel much better. My family has been so supportive with this. Also, I like how I can still do some stuff in Photoshop easily from Aperture, it opens the program from within Aperture quickly, and the work I do is automagically updated inside Aperture. It is truly, the digital darkroom. You will love it! It cost $300 and here is the link: [link] They have several movies you can watch there about Aperture, which is what sold me. I hope this helps!

Please make sure it works on windows! I don't think it does. I'm sorry.
There is a pc application that has a free beta download called Lightroom. It isn't Aperture, but you may like it. Here is the link: [link] It has been getting good reviews, too. The Beta version expires in January 2007, but then I think Lightroom will be available to be purchased. It works with RAW, and I hear it offers similar stuff as Aperture. Perhaps it is as good. I hope this helps! Good luck!
