Description Another favourite character from a book - this time from David&Leigh Eddings' Polgara the Sorceress. I read the book for the first time when I was fourteen and I've been admiring it ever since... So just a little tribute to a wonderful female character - in this picture I imagined her riding through the Arendish Forest, on one of her journeys between Vo Wacune, Vo Astur and Vo Mimbre.
I painted the dress and hair by myself, and had some problems with the fabric and shading... Any tips to make them look more realistic? I also have a feeling that there's something missing, but I can't put my finger on it.

Polgara the Sorceress was an absolutely amazing book. I found this series after nearly giving up on fantasy as a whole, because I was very tired of boys doing all of the fun things. It's very fun to see such a good image of her.

I like the overall effect on this picture. I just started rereading the Belgariad so I'm very interested in Eddings-related stuff right now.

You seem to have included everything you need to in the picture. She's wearing blue and her amulet and I like the snowy owl. She looks peaceful, too, and that's what I really like about it.
