...I don't know what I did here D;For #dAgnostic 's contest [link] . The theme was "Unknown"... and the first thing that comes to mind when I hear that word is unknown planets and green shiny aliens

I find it so difficult to draw anatomy correctly (well I guess in the end everyone does), I'm going to live model classes but I'm improving so slowly D: As you say, it's all about practice in the end when it comes to anatomy!
I'll definitely try to paint more sketchy-like next time, sometimes I feel like I blend too much too D:

Hey no problem. I love this critique feature and I am glad for artists who ask for it.
When you draw the model, really think about proportion. Sometimes it's good thing to base your drawings off of sketches from live models (something I've started to do a lot.) It will help you with proportion and with finding where weight shifts in a pose.

I've noticed that when I measure proportions it does make a huge difference, but then for example I have a terrible problem with where the weight shifts, and my characters tend to look very stiff D:
To base drawings off live models is a good idea, but for what I usually draw their poses wouldn't be too useful haha

I really like the strong orange palette, but there's enough cool shading in the piece to not let the warm colors become overbearing :3

Ooh a science-fictiony setting? This is new for you! I'm a bit torn on whether I feel the alien blobs should be a different colour (as such the landscape kind of overshadows them) but it seems to make sense from an ecological perspective. Those little critters probably want camouflage.

Argh this is my favorite of yours to date. ;////; The colours are spectacular, it's fantastic how everything is so read and then her eyes and hair is just like "pop!" blue. It really draws attention to her expression, which, by the way, is absolutely beautiful.
I'm also jealous of the background. :C In the ship. It takes patience and talent to make something look messy/run-down and it looks nice.

FFFFFFF SPACE PLANTS ARE WHERE ?
The colors you chose are very nice, looks like different hues of oranges and pinks. The warm shading of her skin and the way you lighted the right areas makes me FFFFF I love her face. She looks worried yet trying to stay calm and opague green blobs idk why but=
