Description For the 100 themes challenge

This took longer than it should have...

I was experimenting painting with few colors and with 2/3 layers during the whole process.

I was also trying out `adonihs 's brushes.

I used reference of a photo of mine for the angle.

you really did an awesome job on the colors, it is very difficult to paint like that

making own brushes is very helpful i know something about that

I get very annoyed when I have more than 10 layers because my laptop starts going slow if I have too many

I guess if I had a better computer I'd use more

maybe it's about skills
when i was doing my first cg it took over 200 layers
now i'm down to around 50

200 layers? Mm. Some people use more layers because they think it's 'safer'. If you screw up you can always delete the layer, right?

But if you're as messy as I am... screwing up doesn't matter anymore, you just paint over, as if it was a real painting

i use the safe way
and after i paint i can change the blending opacity and such
and i suck at painting over = =

It really depends on the type of painting you're doing :3

If you're doing anime-style or something that has a lineart, it's more wise to use more layers. I use a lot of layers when I have a lineart!
But when the base is a sketch, everything is messier so if you paint over it's easier :3

Also, sometimes, if I know I'm going to have to change the opacity, or when drawing metal that needs special things, I do it in a new layer, cause it's difficult to fix if you don't XD

In the end,I just make no sense when drawing. I hope one day I'll have a normal method...
