Gorgeous shot. So this was shot in South Africa? Friesians really spread out to all corners of the world (I live in Friesland, home of the breed, and I'm almost proud of "my" breed when I hear that).

I want to breed my baby to him Too bad she is only 1 year now and not pure (I read they are quite strict with the friesians with who and what they breed) >.< lol

i think so yeah! i think its because they come from denmark and have prolly got to keep the studbook fairly neat with friesian mare coverings, I'm sure tho you'd find someone willing! although i'm not so sure the stallion you'd cover her to would look as handsome LOL!
have you met Friso Fan S? i believe he's stabled in Pretoria i want to visit him and get photo's of him without the harnesses and halters on

sorry but friesian horses come from the netherlands, up north here in the region called "Friesland" and yes they keep it as pure as possible because the real friesian breed almost vanished a while ago.

Probably, maybe someone out there has a nice stallion to breed friesian sport horses. My foals' sire isnt registered... he is just alright, not exactly my choice to breed my mare to. On the good side he has a great temperament and the foals came out nice - especially my colt who is getting more and more handsome

I havent met Friso. Only saw pictures of him. You're quite lucky
