A few weeks ago Kevin started in on his Otakon pictures. Was thrilled when this costume was done so early.[Debuted at] Anime Boston 09
[Time taken to complete] 3 weeks off and on (additional week for sword and accessories)
[Character] Medicine Seller / Kusuriuri
[Series or Game] Ayakashi - Samurai Horror Tales / Mononoke
[Awards won] Honorable Mention - Anime Boston 09 Hall Contest
[Inspiration for cosplay] The character design was what made me first interested in watching the show and it was good enough I sat down and watched both series in 2 chunks over 2 days.
[Comments] Getting closer to finished. Between Anime Boston and Otakon I was able to finish the sword and 2 necklaces for the costume. I'm still looking into making his magical box of tricks but its still a bit of progress. Wooo for fully working sword and sheath. The bow is still annoyingly floppy.
