I was looking through my gallery and saw the Zatanna line art. I remember saying that it needed coloring but I never got to doing it. The date shows that the line art on this is pretty old.

For those of you who don't know who she is, she's a heroine in the Justice League who uses magical powers to fight evil and the forces of darkeness. Also, she's a showtime magician during her day to day life. She used to have her own series but it only lasted about sixteen issues.

It was a fun ride while it lasted.

A few days ago, I read a Power Girl comic book issue when both Power Girl, Zatanna and Superman were fighting against this one magic dude who stole Zatanna's powers. The magic dude was using the powers to attack Metropolis using magically made dinosours.

I'm definitely a big fan of Power Girl but the way Zatanna was fighting with her magic (something that in the DC Universe, can injure Kryptonians like Superman and Powergirl), and I was like "Dude. Now I remember why I thought Zatanna was so awesome."

It has definitely been a while since I've been really reading any kind of comic. I think after getting in to Superman again, I looked through some old issues I have stashed
away.

I remember how back in high school, it was a goal of mine to work on a Zatanna comic if I ever went pro. As a fan of Zatanna, I've always felt like her potential as a DC character hasn't been fully tapped in the comics.

Hopefully they'll one day reboot the series but I don't think she was part of the "New 52." Oh well...
