Mayhem didn't plan to find a little jackalope on his forest stall (1). But being the bunny obsessed he is, he instantly fell in love with the little critter (2). That's how he got his pet bunny, he named him Sir Hopps (3).

After the last drawing I had to give Mayhem a pet bunny. It's a jackalope cos I think it fits him. In my headcanon jackalopes are not a separate species, bunnies and of their off-springs them.

By the way, story behind image 3. The Alice in Wonderland is not native in Equestria, but Sunset gifted some books to Twilight for her collection (Equestria Girls is somewhat canon in my AU) and one of the books was of that story. Fluttershy borrowed it for a bedtime storytelling, and it became Mayhem and Anarchy's favorite book. Tho Mayhem may liked it a lot more. He likes to act out scenes from the story playing the role of either the Mad Hatter or the Cheshire Cat. When they were young Anarchy also played along, that's where Alice as nickname stuck to her, off course only Mayhem calls her that.
