Tron Uprising sometimes reminds me of Batman Beyond they have a lot of similar things.

I've noticed that, also. Beck & Terry are the proteges of famous heroes, and they live & work in dystopian, cyberpunk-inspired worlds. The only differences are that Beck lives in the digital world, and McGinnis has a bigger rogue's gallery.

good work, is this series any good? I've tried to catch it but couldn't tell if it was worth following from the commercials

So far, it's not a bad "Lead up" to Tron Legacy, and the characters are pretty solid through out. Doesn't hurt they brought in Bruce B. to reprise Tron's voice, and they found a good replacement for Jeff Bridges' voice for Clu (Fred T. from the Avengers series).
