shouldn't she have been in on that revenge of the deaths of the first born thing they did on ds9?? that would have made the episode alot cooler now that i think about it (lol)

Yeah.....but DS9 was busy trying to not suck. Sadly they never lived up to what they could have been. Sorry if you are a fan but it was sad seeing them try to be Babylon 5 when they ran out of story ideas.

like alot of shows, ds9 had more bad than good points,... but it at least tried to take the franchise in another direction,... instead of everybody's on a ship, they get into trouble and it only takes an hour of screen time to solve whatever problem they come up against,... which is what next gen, voyager and enterprise turned into by the end,... at least with the reboot movie, they've got a chance to fix alot of what was wrong about all of the series,... hopefully they won't just rehash the same thing over and again,... or if they do, maybe they'll manage to make it more interesting,.... tos was good, because it was the first time through for everything, and they hit on tons of social and political issues, without getting nailed to the wall by the censors for it,... the rest were'nt much more than mindless entertainment really, ... but i still had fun watching them (:

TOS will always be what set the bar for the others. The FX and the sets might be a bit wobbly now but the characters, the sense of adventure wave no match.
I agree DS9 had it's head in the right place. seeing another aspect of the TREK verse would've been great. There where some good moments...but not enough.
Voyager like all the other shows begin to circle around the odd man out. Be it the holographic doctor or a Borg with a big rack. Enterprise spent half it's time trying to rewrite canon and to an old fan like me that just invited my hatred.
