Have attempted to depict Momoko Momoiro here.
The text translates (roughly) to: Do I look cute in this?"

A big thanks has to go to , who assisted me with some advice for proportions. I cannot thank you enough for making this piece one of my best ever!

...This was hell to finish. After worrying about my lineart being subpar, I decide to paint over all of it, then redraw the lineart in colour, using the shades and my memory to replace ALL of the lines.

Colouring was pretty easy, but i changed the stripe colours from blue/white to blue/pink. Omitted some details from my start sketch. I felt it was just cluttering up the image a little bit.

Halfway through I realise, that in SAI, if you put layers into folders, it sorta locks the layers opacity (I don't really know how to explain it) so I was able to do a background (albeit simple, it contrasts with the character I feel).

And 27 layers later, it's finished... On to another one!
