I was thinking about how Creepers live and breed and this was what came to mind. Huddled in the hole created by one of their own the creepers retreat from the rising sun to breed and watch over their triangular eggs and curious brood.I've envisioned the eggs as triangular because it would allow them to be 3 dimensional yet retain an alien feel in a game of cubes and sprites (plus think of the crafting potential). The baby creeps are basically creeper heads on 4 little legs, bite size terror with a little cute factor.
Baby creepers are probably not very dangerous but stumbling into a nest might not be the safest thing!

and if you break an egg it becomes an item, and you can build an incubator and make it tameable, but you only get one, that can explode and only use half its health, and doesnt heal unless fed gunpowder

Lol, imagine if players were able to kidnap these eggs and raise the babies as their own only for them to grow up in a month or so and explode.
