Just another shameful work.

Inspired from "dan nguyet" - a major musical instrument in traditional Vietnamese opera, and an old work of mine (Evil Eyes).

About the instrument, you may see its various designs which are a little different from the one I draw. But they all have the same obligatory characteristics : round shape (as one of the reasons why it's called the moon), 2 strings only, and the beautiful sound they make.

The moon, for many reasons, is one of the symbols of the Vietnamese traditional musical. The first Vietnamese opera theme takes place in a full moon night. As a custom, most of the important traditional shows are held in full moon nights, too, when the moon rises.

Here I use a reference for the pose only and my father's sketch for the instrument. Everything is painted by myself.

As usual, all critiques are all welcomed. But constructive ones are greatly appreciate.
