Description
This is an image I had in mind for a long time. A big SF city like those from the old science-fiction movie Metropolis seen from a passengers perspective. It was created in May 2000. My inspiration for this image came from Metropolis and from some even older H.G.Wells books. In these times scyscrapers and planes where pretty new and the first signs of a future world which is now reality.If you liked this picture you may be interested to see more of my science-fiction themed 3D art.

Wenn etwas beeindruckend ist, sieht man jedoch meist auch genau darin die versteckte arbeit, oder?

Man sieht das Endergebnis, aber wieviel Arbeit im Konzept und in fehlgeschlagenen Versuchen steckt sieht man nichtmal wenn man ganz genau hinschaut.

First off, I love the concept and even more the angle all the texturing of the buildings around are perfect and match very nice well together. Very creative.

I'd extrude the windoes of the buildings, you can see too obviously that they are flat.

I thought HG Wells when I saw this picture, you can see the influence or maybe thats just my imagination. still the picture is very clever using the scale to pull you into the piece
