This is for 's Know-It-All Showdown. I like Hermione because she is strong and knows her own mind. So the word that came to my mind was obstinate, because it had to be an impossibly long word I added the ness on the end.

obstinate- 1. firmly and often perversely adhering to one's purpose, opinion, etc ; not yeilding to argument, persuasion, or entreaty. 2. inflexibly persisted in or carried out: obstinate resistance.. 3. not easily controlled. 1. mulish, obdurate, unyielding. See stubborn.
