Yeah, I like where this is going, so I gave it a tentative title... gonna call it ZING!!

When I was a kid I used to catch for my old man's tablesaw and chopbox, and so that ring a sawblade makes when it first kicks in or stops is embedded in the base of my primal memories.

Also, it's like, "...zzzing, gotcha!!"

I wonder how many plusses to your Dex you gotta have to get out of this one with all your fingers?

Anyhow, to business... digi inks in Comic Studio, of course. I've basically transferred the original sketch >> [link] << to a new Page, and then scaled it up to about 10 inches wide or so. Inking mostly with the Maru pen set to 0.5, tapers OFF, with the occasional use of the line and curve tools. When I was in Reno I saw animators who actually drew frames in STYLOS using the curve tool almost exclusively (very round, bouncy characters, but still). It's crazy, but it has it's uses.

Dropped it into Photoshop and changed the sketch Layer to a blue so's you can see the inks, but it's just a trick for display. When I actually work on it, I only set the sketch Layer to a 20% opacity or so, I don't actually bother trying to make it a different color.
