I don't really have anything decent to say, besides saying I really fucking love this. The colors, the splatters, the feesh.

You do need more practice in your divination, young one.

I knew you were going to say that.

I know, but that was fairly easy to predict. Of course the Oracle would scrutinize your lack of divination skills.

I really like, all the cool colors in the background along with the happy little pheesh floating at the top.

Thanks! All the background colors kinda got annihilated by the india ink splatters though. I found a pic I took on my camera from when I finished the background part, and it was so bright my eyes hurt. The combined evil deeds of the india ink and my scanner were able to keep the bright colors at bay once more... >.>;

Aww, what a cutie. Where do you find pheeshes of this variety? I should like to obtain one. =3

Yes it is!
Thank you. I was kinda worried about the composition being so... centered. Glad it works~

the distance between the figure and the black splash add enough of an asymmetrical element for it to not seem "overly centered"...even so I don't think that'd be a problem...but as it is, it works fine. Looks like a real image of a "real" place

Mmm, that makes sense. I think that since there's an underlying cyclical flow, it makes the centered focal point seem much less static. Cool beans. c:

movement always carries through beyond the boundaries of the canvas...any work of art that's not entirely abstract always serves as a sort of snap shot of a greater realm

Nicely put. I think this "window" can be applied to some abstract work as well.
