Description

I wanted to draw my violin as a fox because… well, her name is Vixen. Anyone who’s seen my violin in person can confirm that yes, she IS this vibrant red color. And that big patch of darker red by her neck is the same on my violin. It has that blotch on its back. And also, all the scribbles and stripes are there because of the wood grain and flames in the maple.
silver fine tuner = silver eyes
strings = silver stripes in tail
ebony fingerboard = tail
scroll = tail tip
legs = violin neck
ears = bridge
black nose and nose bridge = end button and tailpiece
body = spruce top
belly = maple back
I think that covers most of the violin-to-fox anatomy. And it’s been FOREVER since I last drew something on my tablet, or even drew a fox… huh
