Hey guys what s up?Here it is the character design of Gusgus - a mouse/pet for my new project that I will be working on with , for my compit at the school.
What do u think about him? Do u guys like it? Im asking u that cause I never did character design so I dont really know if this is the way that it should be...

I like this design! I agree his lines are strong. A couple thoughts: beady eyes can make it difficult for the audience to connect with the character. They limit what you can do with expressions/emotions... but at the same time you are compensating for that with gesture and good lines of action. Secondly, what if instead of 3 tiny buttons on his vest, he had one big button? Like his vest is made of human-made materials. Just a thought!

In fact I decided to draw big eyes because of the tenderness. It always works
And I like the idea of the one buttom on the vest! I will ask that to my teacher and see what he thinks!

This little guy is so cute! At first when I saw the name "Gusgus", I thought this was the mouse from the movie Cinderella x3 Really cute though! I love how you showed us the character from different angles and in different poses. ^u^

Try to make him maybe white? or white brown? I dont know exactly... but it will be great to see some different ideas (changing with the hue/saturation)
