Description
This vintage Elgin mechanical watch movement isn't stock. I replaced the balancing wheel with another, more aesthetically appealing, gear. That particular gear is NOT cemented in place. The teeth of that gear may occasionally catch on something that the ring wearers hand may brush up against. By allowing the wheel to freely rotate, it will help prevent it from getting torn off if it does gets caught on something.
