Description Welcome to one of my secret spots.

Wequiock Falls is a little waterfall out about six miles from my home town, which I believe might have been man made (it's been here for as long as I can remember)... I went out there today because the little county place is one of my places of solitude. When I need to think or just get away, I often end up driving, and either end up in a town or city away, or at Wequiock.

I always wanted to take a photograph of Wequiock Falls when it's frozen, but the trail to get down close enough to get a shot like this one often freezes, and is dangerously steep. Since I was out there today, I got close enough and noticed the icicles on the rocky parts of the waterfall area, so I took this shot (thus, it's in the weather section since it's showing winter and the cold temps around here have made icicles form already).

Taken on 11-30-04 at Wequiock Falls in Wisconsin. Please don't take.

Oooohh... I live in Minnesota so my environment's not that different, but... those rock formations are really cool, and the shelves have icicles on them... I don't think I've seen a waterfall like THAT before. Awesome.
