Location: Bazaar of Bari Imam, Islamabad, Pakistan

He is a cook at one of the open air kitchens that prepare the cauldrons of rice around the shrine. These cauldrons are cooked on open log fires. The smoke the firewood used to cook the offerings of rice at the shrine have left a grimy layer of soot that gives him a rather forbidding appearance. He seemed lost in some thought during a break from work and was quite oblivious of me.
