This lined pouch with embossed leather and crochet work is available at my Etsy store.

Anubis is the Ancient Egyptian god of mummification, afterlife and death. He is associated with the jackal and is also usually carrying an ankh, which is a symbol of the afterlife. Anubis is often seen in the Ancient Egyptian scenes depicted the weighing of the heart of the deceased. The ancient Egyptian believed that this process of weighing would determine whether you were allowed to enter Osiris's realm of the afterlife or not.

I embossed the leather Anubis piece with a hand carved Anubis stamp on my etching press, see the last photo. The braiding around the leather piece is crochet work using acrylic yarn. The braiding running across the bag is also made with crochet work but is only acrylic yarn. The brown bag is lined with yellow poly-satin fabric. I finished the pouch with dark brown and yellow poly-satin ribbons, see the fourth image.

It is great for storing all sorts of things, such as: Tarot Cards (the pouch will fit a deck of 65mm x120mm tarot cards), Gem Stones, Rune Stones, Dice, Jewellery and whatever else you can think of with similar size.
