Description This here is Rain Woman. [link] Property of the one and only . She's sad because she lost her umbrella. Now she can't use her powers without getting wet herself.

Anyway, she's a classy looking localized weather manipulating Robot Mistress in ~Blackhook 's very awesome sprite comic "Megaman Dissonance" [link] . Please do check it out! Didn't even ask for permission, so I hope it's okay for me to butcher his creation like so. XDDD


Found this rain effect tutorial somewhere in the net. [link] .Lots of weird looking small details combine to make this somewhat weird looking pic, but I hope you guys like it. Thanks!

It amuses me greatly when you say you didn't ask permission. That's the thing about Megaman it's the concept of the characters that are unique, regardless of how detailed they are drawn initially when the idea is good it can be expanded, then the ideas for dramatic pictures just start flowing
This picture is really emotional, you've done a really good job on the rain dripping over her. very nice work

I agree! And with the style of Rockman characters, there really is a lot of options one can choose for his character without looking too similar, but at the same time, looking like it still belongs in that series. Simply put, there's just so much material you can play with in the Rockman series. And I'm still only talking about the classic series.

This is amazing work, as usual! I love the gloomy vibe that you get from this picture! The effects of the rain splashing onto her and the ground are a great touch too. But I especially favor her facial expression, because it dispays the perfect emotion for this.

I love the mood in this, really do. The effect of the rain on her is great, especially with the touch of detail in using those trickles running down her arms and legs, and that said itself, she's drop-dead gorgeous. I really came to this thinking maybe this was the next Megaman game ( 'cause it's a damned shame there's only Splash Woman. ). Ah, I better'd stop before I get to prattling nonsense, but this is great work. XD

Thanks! I really needed the water trickle details to "hide" the tears because this was supposed to be "robots don't cry" pic. Though I guess it IS a requirement for a rainy pic like this. And I agree about needing more females characters in Megaman. XD

She's ~Blackhook 's original Rockman character, "Rain Woman". XD And you're right, Tornade Man and Rain Woman might get along pretty well. XD
