Toriel Caretaker of the RUINS and former Queen of Monsterkind.
Like with the game, Toriel in EndTale lives in solitude. Not because Asgore declared war on HUMANS but it was simply her son's turn to take over the throne.
Despite the fact that she despises most of the MAGES from the war, she still has a soft spot for the young MAGE, Frisk.
And like within the game, Toriel plays a motherly role in the world of EndTale. She cared for every HUMAN child that has ever stepped upon the grounds of the RUINS...that is until they decide to leave and what not. Even though she is usually heartbroken during these moments, she usually let's the child leave (with the exception of Frisk) the safety of the RUINS (not without months of hard physical and weapons training though), as she sees that she would not be there forever to keep them from the harshness of the VOID. She thinks that the children should also know how to defend and protect themselves.
