Description
So I made up this kinda cheesy story and made this pic about it, so here it is:

basically there was a girl who didn't have much going on in her life (you can probably see where this is going, feel free to stop reading now) the best part about her day was reading to this unidentified man in a coma at the hospital.

one day she decided to bring a very special book about the post apocalyptic future to read to him, she only got about half way through before she was tired and decided to go home to sleep.

however when she woke up, she was in some kind of cryo-tube, and when she emerged she saw that she was now in some kind of post apocalyptic future.

She wonders around a bit and finds out its been 50 years since she went to sleep, just then a mutated zombie emerges from the shadows, but before it can chew her brains out a masked soldier (the guy in the pic above) shoots it int the head.

The stranger reveals that hes been alone for a long time and only wishes he could remember his name, hes also gone pretty insane from the loneliness, and the girl tries to ask him exactly what's happened, when the man explains that they should see a mystical mutant called Steven that's supposed to have been mutated in his brain to know everything.

So they go on an adventure, and their relationship forms and stuff (now you've really gotta be able to tell where this is going)

throughout this time, the man goes on about steven like hes the king of everything how everything revolves around him, how important and brilliant he is ect. ect.

eventually they make it to where Steven lives, only to find its a giant mechanical dragon, that tells the man the truth.

"you do not understand, dont you see this whole world revolves around this mysterious figure called steven, and you cannot even remember your name. YOU ARE STEVEN!"

this leaves Steven shocked and puzzled. then the dragon turns to the girl.

"and as for you young girl, don't you see? this whole world revolves around Steven! the man who has no name."

after he says that he disappears into the shadows and leaves the two by themselves, puzzled and confused on how to proceed.

after a few more events where, i dunno the girl gets kidnapped by some angry mutants, the Steven saves her to prove his love for her, yadda yadda.

they stand on top of a hill as the sun comes up gazing into each others eyes

"Ive figured it out" the girl says "the entire world revolves around you Steven, the man with no name" she lifts off his gasmask to reveal the man in the coma, and they kiss as the world slowly melts around them.

they both wake up in the hospital, and live happily ever after (gotta love cliché endings!)

So for those of you who didn't get it basically the coma man's sub-conscience created a world out of the story and dragged the girl into it, you see he couldn't break out of the coma cause nobody knew who he was and he needed help to find himself in his own fantasy world.

This was entered as part of a bigger piece for an Art competition at my school, and I won!
