My Demons chased me to the edge, with my back toward the sea
It was apparent my Death was approaching; yes -- this is the end for me
But before they could consume my Soul, an Angel came to me.
She gripped me tight and made me realize and see
This Magical World of Love and Care, hidden beneath the debris.

I was tragically wounded and damaged by Demons I thought I could not escape.
But you've dissipated a Darkness in me, in such a way that changed my fate.

If not for you, S.J.A., who's to say that I'd survive?
It seems to be, that your very existence, is the reason I'm alive.

Every goddamn time I think of you, my Heart races, and I don't know why
There's something about the Twinkle in your Eyes, that renders me incapable of telling a lie.

In my sweetest Dreams, and my foolish mind,
I'm with you all the time

The quality and tone of your voice, gives me no choice, but to swoon
I'm under your spell, and you know quite well, your hold over me looms.

Your face is captivating, prepossessing -- as close to perfect as possible
Yet you still doubt it, it's a shame. I don't deem that plausible.

And when I hold you, and we sway, I swear to you I could stay
Forever

And at the end of my day, when I lay, and reflect on what I've done
If just once I made you laugh, or made you smile, I say it's a day well done.

At the end of it all, whatever you choose about your life
I pray you decided that I'm worthy, and keep me in it.

So, this is my Ode to my Angel, and all that's left to say;
Is I really Love you, and Happy Birthday, S.J.A.
