Ariel and Jim moving in together after they are married (if they lived in modern times).Ariel loses her shoe, and sweet Jim is all too eager to oblige.

I think the periodic streak in them is still kind of there with Jimbo's rather devious expression whilst peeking at Ariel's ankle...but that's just me being naughty.

I can just picture how that would go down. It's so cute!
I can picture Ariel saying something like "I may be a princess, but I'm not spoiled you know? I can put on my own shoes."
And of course, being witty, Jim would reply with "Yeah, you're a regular Disney princess."
With an eye-roll, Ariel would say "Well I wouldn't go that far. I just happen to know a girl who lost her shoe once and it never ends with the shoe going back on. There's always a sequel. Me, I'd like to skip the sequel and put these boxes down."
I love the scene depicted--and it's drawn so well! It gets the wheels in my head turning. They'd be good together. If only...
