Sorry for not being online much but the last few days were killer for me. Well I'm not usually a insomniac but recently I've been staying up till about two - two thirty, which wouldn't be a problem except that I need to get up at seven on weekdays. Yea I need to get back to a regular sleep schedule. Anyways I live-streamed a drawing on Wednesday (1am). Well I had absolutely no Idea of what I was doing so my sketch evolved from what was going to be a tree into a set of wings⦠eventually it turned into a winged fish, 's fault. shut up I can blame whoever I want, besides I think he at least gave me the idea (idk it was really late) not being satisfied with my flying trout I got rid of the coldblooded vertebrate. It wasn't until I turned the drawing into Rainbow Dash was I satisfied⦠proof that I have a healthy amount of pony on my mind. anyway here it is

Well, either old American iron or a VW, although I have to ask my friends and figure out what amount of money I'll have to put into a VW to get it road worthy.
'66-es are right out the window, as they are exorbitantly priced these days.
Ah, the trouble with ponifying is that it's very large is not a good idea... We still are a niche group after all, some may not take warmly for us.
I will however add some cute little elements, such as adding the Ferrarity onto the horn button or something as such.

hmm yea they are a high priced vehicle, however if you have the time and know-how, getting a scrap body from a yard and putting your own together can be fairly cost effective, even to the point of a complete restore. but yea any old American car is far easier and cheaper to rebuild as parts are usually easier and cheaper to come by. Trail buggies / crawlers are usually the kind of vehicle I work with and build and as such I see a lot of older Toyota pickups because they are desirable to most offroaders. but I work on American trucks too and I've completely restored three classics for friends of mine a 72 k5 blazer, a 62 nova and a 68 mustang. the thing is that if every import truck was as easy to work on as these classics. I would have the easiest hobby ever!
yea having a giant twilight sparkle or pinkie pie on the side of your vehicle is just asking to get keyed or worse. Still like you said, some small 'Improvements' wont hurt especially if they easily go unnotice by the nonbrony untrained eye.

Oh man, you got some projects under your belt there!
Well, that's the thing with VW's specifically. Since it's such an icon VS everything else, it's become extremely hard to find a proper one for "earth like" prices.
I'll be meeting with my VW buddies tomorrow, and we'll talk some major details on if I should explore that route with the little cash I got.

Really though, great job! Love the detail in the wings, but I think that fuzzy mane is my favorite part

Yea I don't really know why of the two drawing I've done of Dash both of them are sad. actually I feel sorta bad for drawing it, Dash is my favorite pony and her being sad sort of hurts me. 
anyways thanks! as you can probably tell by the rapid change in style my each of my deviations has undertaken I haven't really found my own style of drawing yet but I really like the mane I did on this one too so I think I'm getting closer to the technique that I can call my own

Hey, I just told you it was anything you wanted it to be, at first it actually looked like a guy who was armored and he was holding a sword in a ready position. So don't even start with me.
Haha, all jokes aside, I love what you did with this, the livestream didn't do too much justice for the sketched wings but it looked like you were able to turn it into something just amazing. I believe you've improved greatly since I first started watching and it's showing in each deviation that you put out. Great work man it's truly beautiful.

yea I had no Idea where I was going with that livestream. It could have ended up being anything!
I'm probably not going to bother with livestreaming too much because I know nobody would want to stick around for three hours to see someone draw something like this, but it's fun to do so I'll just continue posting stuff whenever I have the time. I can defiantly see the improvement in the stuff I've drawn too, just looking back into my gallery I see a previous drawing of mine and say 'I drew that 
I still have a long way to go but I've gotten a lot better since I've started, It's great to have someone point that out. Thanks.
